Algorfa is one of Vega Baja's citrus farming villages with a population of 1000, Algorfa holds a market on Sundays and Wednesdays. Inland you can visit the Palace of the Marquis of Fontabla, with its extensive gardens. Or the activity centre at La Pedrera, a recreation area with mountain bike trails, walking trails along with barbeque and camping areas. The town is well connected with motorways close by, and 2 airports within 45 minutes drive. Alicante and Murcia airports are less than 50km away, Ryanair serves Murcia and BA serves Alicante. Parking at the house is easy, with good local bars, but luckily the town itself is generally quiet at night with close by Benejzar providing lively night life There are also five marinas and two water parks in the area and the sands of Guadama beach make for plenty for non-golfers in the party to do as well.
