Sleeping The apartment has 2 large twin bedrooms, sleeping a total of 4 but there is ample space in both bedrooms for baby cots. Summer and winter bed linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
General There is a newly fitted bathroom with both bath and shower. A large vanity unit gives ample storage for toiletries.
Entertainment There is a wide screen TV with a cable network that provides 30 British TV channels, 10 music channels in addition to Spanish TV. Books, games and some beach equipment is also provided. (Beach mats, float, foot pump etc)
Eating & Living The dining table seats 6 people and the lounge area seats 5 on a leather 3 piece suite. In addition there are dining facilities for 4 people on the balcony. The spacious kitchen is equally well equipped for dinner parties or quick snacks. You will find a ceramic hob, electric fan oven, microwave, mini-convection oven, fridge, washing machine, freezer, kettle, toaster, clothes drier, iron, ironing board together with all cooking and dining utensils.
Smoking is permitted in the apartment but guests are requested not to smoke in the bedrooms.
General The apartment is located in a fairly quiet neighbourhood, the main noise being the sound of the waves. There is a super-sized communal swimming pool on site within a large landscaped area.The pool is open from June to end of September. All windows of the apartment have panoramic sea views in addition to the south-facing balcony. All external and internal areas have ample lighting.
Extra Information The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and is serviced by 2 lifts in addition to the stairs. There is an intercom system to the main entrance door.
On Site In addition to the pool which is open from June to end of September, the nearest beach is immediately opposite the apartment, although a small beach compared to others close by, it is safe for swimming and manned by lifeguards in the summer months. Also next to the apartment is a bar/ restaurant serving meals from 11am to 11pm. A small supermarket is nearby but within 10 minutes walk are many other shops, banks, supermarkets, bars and restaurants of numerous nationalities.
Less than 15 minutes drive away Activities within a short drive include sailing, water-skiing, fishing, boat hire, golf, a gymnasium, scuba diving, street markets, hypermarkets, shopping malls and an aqua park. The nearby resort of Torrevieja has a fashionable marina, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and safe bathing and diving areas.
Less than 45 minutes drive away The historic towns of Murcia and Cartagena are worth a visit. La Manga is renown for its world championship golf-course. The Mar Menor is a warm inland sea famed for its spa treatments and safe beaches with calm and shallow waters.
Extra There are street markets on every day of the week in different locations nearby. A bus stop, which serves the coast to the north and south, is in short walking distance. Free day excursions to places of interest are available from here.
