Casamarla is a 2 bedroom apartment that can sleep up to 6 people (with a double sofa bed in the lounge) with access to a communal swimming pool. It is located in La Florida on the Orihuela Costa, 10 minutes south of Torrevieja town. The beautiful sandy beaches that the Costa Blanca is famous for are only 5 minutes drive away, the nearest being at Playa Flamenca and La Zenia. It is conveniently situated just 40 minutes south of Alicante airport and 25 minutes north of Murcia airport, both of which are serviced by all the “Budget Airlines” such as easy jet and Ryan Air. We can arrange airport pickup and drop off’s at a good fixed rate - this service is provided by our English agents that look after our apartment. The apartment is on the first floor with a large private roof terrace and a view of the Mediterranean sea in the distance. It is ideal for sunbathing and to watch the beautiful sunsets while sitting on the roof terrace with a glass of your favourite tipple! The apartment is very well equipped with Sky TV, washing machine, cooker, hob, microwave and fridge freezer and all guests are provided with fresh linen and towels. There are numerous bars, shops and restaurants all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. In addition to the communal pool, just a short walk away is the Emerald Isle Bar/Restaurant which also has a large swimming pool situated in beautiful gardens. This place is ideal for families as in addition to the pool it also has a kiddies playground and evening entertainment. It is surrounded by a high hedge and with only one way in and out it makes it easy to keep track of the kids. It also has a bowling club and hosts tournaments throughout the year. For the golfers there are golf courses all around the area including Villa Martin which boasts 3 courses, Club de Golf Villamartin, Club de Golf Las Ramblas de Orihuela and Real Club de Golf Campoamor. The price is from 80 euro's return from Alicante and from 60 euro's from Murcia (depending on flight times) One way transfers are also available. Airport transfers are recommended as taxi drivers at the airport may not be aware of the La Florida urbanization as it is quite a new development and the area has poor or no signs for road names or developments. A taxi service will be more costly if extra time is needed to find the property in an unknown area. Alicante airport is approximately 40 minutes drive away, and Murcia airport is approximately 25 minutes drive away.
